FranchisePulse detects change in official franchise filings and shows the rule behind every score. Narrative items (litigation, financial performance) are extracted with an LLM and always cite the source page.
Scheduled jobs read franchise registrations and FDDs from state registries (CA, MN, WI live-first).
Structured tables (Items 6/7/20) are compared against the prior FDD to detect fee, investment, and outlet changes.
Litigation (Item 3) and financial performance (Item 19) are LLM-extracted with a cited source quote and a confidence flag.
Transparent rules weight each signal for brokers, suppliers, competitive-intel teams, and investors.
If a field can't be extracted cleanly it is marked unconfirmed — never guessed.
Every signal links to the official state filing so you confirm before acting.
